L'anno scorso abbiamo organizzato gli eventi della Webmaster Conference in più di 15 paesi. Lo spirito di una WMConf si riflette proprio in questo numero: vogliamo raggiungere aree geografiche in cui in genere non vengono organizzate simili conferenze. Di recente abbiamo monitorato la situazione relativa al coronavirus (COVID-19) e il suo impatto sulla pianificazione degli eventi di quest'anno.
Ciò significa che, data la crescente preoccupazione per tale emergenza e nel rispetto delle linee guida per i viaggi pubblicate dall'OMS, dal CDC e da altre organizzazioni, stiamo posticipando tutti gli eventi della Webmaster Conference a livello mondiale. Sebbene ci auguriamo di organizzare eventi entro fine anno, stiamo valutando anche altre modalità per raggiungere il pubblico di destinazione.
Siamo molto spiacenti di dover posticipare l'occasione di interagire di persona, ma riteniamo che al momento la sicurezza e la salute di tutti i partecipanti siano la priorità.
