Google वेबसाइट के सभी वर्शन की पुष्टि करने का सुझाव देता है जिनमें—एचटीटीपी, एचटीटीपीएस, www,
और गैर-www वाले वर्शन शामिल हैं. ऐसा करने से आपको Google Search Console में, अपनी साइट की
परफ़ॉर्मेंस के बारे में सटीक जानकारी मिलती है.
हालांकि, वेबसाइट के कई
वर्शन जोड़ने की वजह से वेबमास्टर के लिए यह समझना मुश्किल होता है कि Google
उनके पूरे डोमेन को किस तरह "देखता" है. इसे आसान बनाने के लिए, आज हम Search Console में
डोमेन प्रॉपर्टी
की सुविधा जोड़ रहे हैं. यह पूरे डोमेन के लिए, Google Search के डेटा की पुष्टि करने और उसे देखने का एक तरीका है.
डोमेन प्रॉपर्टी, डोमेन नाम में मौजूद सभी यूआरएल का डेटा दिखाती हैं. इनमें सभी प्रोटोकॉल, सब-डोमेन,
और पाथ वाले यूआरएल शामिल होते हैं. इनकी मदद से Search Console में वेबसाइट के परफ़ॉर्मेंस से जुड़ी हर जानकारी देखी जा सकती है. इससे
आपको मैन्युअल तरीके से अलग-अलग डेटा को जोड़कर देखने की ज़रूरत नहीं पड़ती. इसलिए, आप चाहे मोबाइल पेजों के लिए एम-डॉट वाले यूआरएल का इस्तेमाल करते हैं
या फिर पुराने वर्शन से एचटीटीपीएस वाले
वर्शन पर माइग्रेट करने की सुविधा सेट अप
करते हैं. Search Console की मदद से आपको अपनी साइट के डेटा की पूरी जानकारी मिल जाएगी और यह समझने में मदद मिलेगी कि
Google Search उसे किस तरह देखता है.
अगर आपने पहले से डीएनएस की मदद से पुष्टि करने का सेट अप पूरा कर लिया है, तो आने वाले कुछ हफ़्तों में Search Console अपने-आप आपकी साइट के लिए नई डोमेन
