8 stycznia 2024 r. wycofamy z Search Console narzędzie do ograniczania szybkości indeksowania. To narzędzie jest dostępne od ponad 10 lat, ale dzięki usprawnieniom logiki indeksowania i innym narzędziom dostępnym dla wydawców jego przydatność zmalała.
Googlebot reaguje na to, jak witryna – a dokładniej serwer obsługujący witrynę – odpowiada na żądania HTTP Googlebota. Jeśli na przykład serwer stale zwraca kody stanu HTTP 500 w przypadku określonego zakresu adresów URL, Googlebot automatycznie, a nawet niemal natychmiast spowolni to indeksowanie. Podobnie Googlebot zwalnia automatycznie, jeśli czas odpowiedzi na żądania znacznie się wydłuża. Jeśli indeksowanie witryny jest bardzo intensywne i witryna nie jest w stanie sama nim zarządzać, zapoznaj się z tym artykułem pomocy.
Ograniczanie szybkości działało znacznie wolniej. Nowe limity indeksowania były stosowane niekiedy nawet dopiero po całym dniu. Na szczęście właściciele witryn rzadko muszą uciekać się do korzystania z tego narzędzia, a ci, którzy to robią, w wielu przypadkach ustawiają szybkość indeksowania na absolutne minimum.
Wraz z wycofaniem narzędzia do ograniczania szybkości indeksowania ustawiamy minimalną szybkość indeksowania na niższą wartość porównywalną do starych limitów szybkości indeksowania. Oznacza to, że jeśli zainteresowanie wyszukiwaniem jest niewielkie, a nasze roboty nie obciążają przepustowości witryny, zachowujemy zgodność z ustawieniami wybranymi w przeszłości przez niektórych właścicieli witryn.
Ze względu na postępy w automatyzacji zarządzania szybkością indeksowania i dążenie do zapewniania użytkownikom łatwości obsługi będziemy wycofywać to narzędzie z Search Console. Pozostawiamy formularz zgłoszeniowy do zgłaszania nietypowej aktywności Googlebota oraz sytuacji awaryjnych. Pamiętaj jednak, że najszybszym sposobem na zmniejszenie szybkości indeksowania jest przesłanie do Googlebota instrukcji w odpowiedzi serwera zgodnie z naszą dokumentacją.

This tool has\nbeen\n[available for over a decade](/search/blog/2008/12/more-control-of-googlebots-crawl-rate),\nbut with the improvements we've made to our crawling logic and other tools available to\npublishers, its usefulness has dissipated.\n\n\nGooglebot reacts to how the site--or more specifically the server handling the site--\nresponds to Googlebot's HTTP requests. For example, if the server persistently returns HTTP\n`500` status codes for a range of URLs, Googlebot will automatically, and almost\nimmediately slow down crawling. Similarly, Googlebot slows down automatically if the response time\nfor requests gets significantly longer.
