It shows issues such as Flash content, missing viewport, tiny fonts, fixed-width viewports, content not sized to viewport, and links/buttons too close together. The feature provides graphs to track progress over time. Website owners are encouraged to address these issues to ensure mobile-friendliness by using Web Fundamentals resources. To keep you\ninformed of issues mobile users might be seeing across your website, we've added the\n[Mobile Usability feature](https://search.google.com/search-console/mobile-usability)\nto [Webmaster Tools](https://search.google.com/search-console).\n\n\nThe new feature shows mobile usability issues we've identified across your website, complete with\ngraphs over time so that you see the progress that you've made.\n\n\nA mobile-friendly site is one that you can easily read and use on a smartphone, by only having to\nscroll up or down. Swiping left/right to search for content, zooming to read text and use UI\nelements, or not being able to see the content at all make a site harder to use for users on\nmobile phones. To help, the Mobile Usability reports show the following issues: Flash content,\n[missing `viewport`](/web/fundamentals/layouts/rwd-fundamentals/set-the-viewport)\n(a critical meta-tag for mobile pages),\n[tiny fonts](/speed/docs/insights/UseLegibleFontSizes), fixed-width `viewports`,\n[content not sized to `viewport`](/web/fundamentals/layouts/rwd-fundamentals/size-content-to-the-viewport),\nand\n[clickable links/buttons too close](/speed/docs/insights/SizeTapTargetsAppropriately)\nto each other.\n\n\nWe strongly recommend you take a look at these issues in Webmaster Tools, and think about how they\nmight be resolved; sometimes it's just a matter of tweaking your site's template! More information\non how to make a great mobile-friendly website can be found in our\n[Web Fundamentals](/web/fundamentals) website (with more information\nto come soon).\n\n\nIf you have any questions, you can join us in our\n[webmaster help forums](https://support.google.com/webmasters/community/)\n(on your phone too)!\n\n\nPosted by\n[John Mueller](https://johnmu.com/), Webmaster\nTrends Analyst, Zurich"]]
